I am excited about a new venture that Celebration Church is launching out with. “Straight Talk” is our ever first ever series through a book of the Bible. We will start this weekend and run 5 weeks. Oh, and by the way, when I say that I am stoked about a particular series that I am preaching please don’t misconstrue that I mean that I am stoked about hearing myself preach again. Hearing myself on podcast is like torture! Ashley (the foxy women I live with) walked by one day and asked, “Are you listening to Joyce Meyer?”And I replied with pure fury, “no, that is me!” She walked away laughing, I cried like a baby! I just wanted to say thanks to the good people of Celebration Church for their outlandish gift (3,000.00 Trip to Disney World) to my family last weekend in our service. I am completely humbled by that token of appreciation and could not be more thankful. One of the great joys from the gift was when we were able to tell our children that we were going to Disney World and that the people of the church loved them enough to send them to the Magical Kingdom. It was one of my highlights of ministry to be able to my children that! thanks again, we have talked about every night since that Sunday! Yesterday we were able to book our trip and all the dining places and we are totally stoked! tim

We pulled a couple of big reds off of dixie bar, and caught an afternoon bite at Zundel’s with Ashley and the kids, (By the way my wife is an excellent fisherman/fisherwoman), I know it’s tough, but someone’s got to do it. I just wanted to say thank you to all the people who worked hard the week of Easter to have a great weekend at CC. We had a good time and came in at 292 between two services on Sunday which was record breaking for us. I know that for a lot of places around the country 300 on an Easter Sunday is a chip shot, but at our stage at CC it was monumental. Two years ago we had less than 90 at Easter so God is up to something great at CC. Thanks for all the wonderful, crazy people who cal CC their home. You are loved!laterts

it’s late on wednesday night (11pm) and I just came out of Pastor Jd’s office talking about our small groups in our student ministry and I am stoked! They had over 60 in small groups for the second consecutive week and we just spoke with Clark, our Jr High Small Group and he is super excited about what is happening in our jr high ministry. I am incredibly pumped for 770. Their team is doing an impeccable job! I guess all I can say is cudos to 770 ad their team. later
We just finished our third week of Elements Island-(which is the 2nd step of the CC Growth Track) and our lecture was regarding the gospel, culture, and the church.
